During the production of the ecological urns, not a single tree is cut down. The bio-paper is made from the bark of the Mulberry tree. This bark is peeled from the tree, after which new bark grows back. A sustainable production process, as it is a fast-growing and renewable resource. The tree bark is then boiled in large kettles into a paper pulp mixture, to which Ixora flowers are added. Next, the pulp is applied by hand onto so-called moulding frames. Finally, the paper sheets are placed in the sun to dry before being processed into a memorial product.
 
This small scattering urn is decorated with flowers from the Ixora plant, resulting in a floral pattern. This gives the scattering urn a soft appearance.
